Child Care Center

The mission of the Child Care Center is to provide quality before and after school care to children whose parents work or attend school. The center serves children ages five to 12 years old and is licensed by the State of Illinois. Center hours are Monday - Friday 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. during the school year.

The Child Care Center accepts children from Prospect, Walker, Notre Dame, Manning, Holmes and Maercker schools. Bus service is provided to local schools except Prospect school, which is less than a two-minute walk away for children. A hot lunch is served to kindergartners.

The Center is staffed by qualified teachers who meet or exceed standards required by the Department of Children and Family Services. The teachers plan a variety of activities and provide a safe and comfortable environment for the children.
