The Present Word, led by Walt King, meets in Room 7. The class looks at the mix of our faith and our lives in the light of scripture – using The Present Word series as a guide. The fall study is Genesis – Beginnings and New Beginnings. All are welcome
Tracing Our Faith, coordinated by Ron Eshleman, meets in the Parlor. This class will be viewing and discussing the videos of Professor Amy-Jill Levine on the Old Testament. She is able to make the biblical text come alive with her active description of the participants. If you like uninhibited discussion, please try this class.
Men’s Bible Fellowship meets at Egg Harbor Café, York and Ogden (Gateway Square) in Hinsdale. New members, interested in the intersection of faith, our lives, and the world are always welcome.
Thursday Morning Devotions meets in the Chapel from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m. This class reads and discusses a book, alternating Bible Study and devotional styles. Currently, Receiving the Day: Christian Practices for Opening the Gift of Time by Dorothy C. Bass is being discussed. Copies are available in the church office for purchase. Men and women of all ages are welcome. For more information, contact the Rev. Dean Lindsey.

Ongoing Programs
Faith & Film
Faith does not exist in a vacuum but must engage the culture in which it finds itself. Our monthly Faith & Film series, as well as special topical programs, examines ways in which faith intersects with popular culture. Please watch this space, and as soon as we have another event planned it will be posted.
