Community Presbyterian Church sits on a residential street corner and is easy to find.  Click on Directions  to find an easy-to-follow map to our location.  Look for the red doors on the front of the church to find your way in.  Once you are inside, ahead of you are the steps into the sanctuary.  If you need help, there are greeters at the steps into the sanctuary who will be happy to help direct you as needed.  Is the church handicap-accessible?  Yes.  There is an entrance at the south end of the building with an elevator. Take the elevator to the 1st floor.  Once you enter the building go straight down the hall and you can find the office on the left, the chapel straight ahead, or you may enter the sanctuary by going down the short hallway to the right of the chapel.

Where To Take Kids?
Where To Take Kids and getting them settled into the right Sunday School room may be one of your biggest concerns. From September through May, Sunday School is offered at the 9:00 a.m. hour for children birth through eighth grade. Nursery through first grade children should be brought to their classrooms. Second through eighth graders begin at 9:00 a.m. worship with their families in the sanctuary till 9:40 a.m. when they will be sent forth to their respective Sunday School classes with their teachers till 10:15 a.m. At this time, their teachers will bring all four-year-olds through third grade to join their families in Fellowship Hall. Fourth through eighth grade will be excused at 10:15 a.m. To get help get your kids in place, from the sanctuary steps, turn right and go through the foyer, up the short flight of stairs and then turn right down the first (main) floor hallway.  At the far (south) end of the hallway is our Children’s Ministries office.  Someone will be on duty to greet and help get everyone settled.  When everyone is in place we will look forward to welcoming you to worship.

During the summer, Sunday School is offered for birth through kindergarten at the 9:00 a.m. hour. Child care for infants and toddlers is also offered at 10:30 a.m. during the summer only.

How should I Dress?
Most importantly we wish you to feel comfortable in worship and have a chance to find God’s spirit present with you.  People dress in a range from casual, business casual to suit and tie.  We do not worry about your dress and are just glad you are joining us.

The Worship Service
We believe that worship is a vital part of our faith and hope that you will find the service meaningful.  Greeters will meet you at the door with a smile and a handshake.  They are happy to answer any questions you may have.  Ushers will have worship bulletins to hand out and you can find a seat of your choosing.  No one is going to chase you down and single you out as a visitor, but people in your pew may greet you.  In each pew row is a pad to write your information if you wish, which will allow others in your row to know your name and greet you or for someone from the church to make a friendly call to follow up on your visit and welcome you.  The Worship tab will provide additional descriptions about our services.
