» Stewardship

Stewardship is our response for the many blessings Christ has given us.  Members of CPC seem to find many ways to express their stewardship giving, donating time in service to help others, offering their talents when needed, and supporting the mission and ministry of our church with financial pledges and gifts.  We try to encourage all members with their stewardship, encouraging each member to find ways to be grateful, happy stewards and be Christ’s hands and example in the world.

An annual stewardship campaign takes place in the fall. Members of the congregation are invited to make monetary pledges for the support of the church and its programs. Offering envelopes are available for those who want them by contacting Jill Cecchini, Financial Administrator, in the church office.

Special gifts, donations in memory of a loved one, and planned giving opportunities contribute to the Memorial and Gifts fund of the church. Special effort is made to match donors’  interests with particular, tangible needs of the church.

The interest from our church’s endowment fund supports new programs and special ministries. Contributions are made to the endowment fund in many ways, including special gifts, memorials, and planned giving. A special way to remember a loved one is through the “Tree of Life,” which is located in the narthex. With a contribution of $500 or more, a leaf is inscribed on the tree and a donation is made to the endowment fund for a lasting legacy.
