» Nursery

We provide a safe, loving place for infants through 2-year-olds to play while their parents worship and/or attend Christian education classes.  Drop-off nursery care is always provided on Sunday mornings from 8:45 a.m. to 12 p.m. (9:15 – 11:45 a.m. during the summer months of June, July and August when we have one worship service at 9:30 a.m.)  We have a beeper system to alert parents if we should need them to return to the nursery for any reason.

Briana FoorThe nursery is located on the church’s main level, across from the church office and is staffed by a regular nursery staff member, Briana Foor, in addition to weekly volunteer. Briana is a nursing major at Lewis University. Currently she is a certified nursing assistant and intends to acquire her doctorate in nursing specializing in pediatrics and neonatology. With long term nanny experience as well, Briana is fully cognizant of how to provide a sense of protection and security for the children in her care.  In her free time, Briana loves being active and spending time with my friends and family. She has current Infant & Toddler CPR training, a gentle manner and a love for our youngest guests at CPC!

What should I expect on your first visit to the nursery?
When visiting us for the first time you will be asked CPC Kids Family Registration form.  For the safety and security of all of our children, we ask that each child in our care have a current registration form on file..The nursery staff will help you sign in your child and you will be asked to complete a brief form that includes contact and allergy information, and who is allowed to pick up your child.

What should I bring?
We recommend parents bring a diaper bag and bottle, both labeled with your child’s name. Please feel welcome to bring any comfort items your child might have. You may also want to bring a change of clothes for your child, just in case it is needed.

What if my child cries?
Most children cry the first few times they are dropped off, but usually calm down quickly. Our staff and volunteers will do their best to comfort your child. If your child cannot be consoled, we will contact you during the worship service or in your Christian education class.

Can I stay with my child in the nursery?
Yes. Parents are welcome in the nursery at any time.

Can I nurse my child in the nursery?
Yes. We have a rocker available in the nursery and nursing mothers are welcome.

Can I volunteer?
