Child Care Center

The CPC Child Care Center is open!

We’re open to serve families in our community. Check out the new health and safety measures we’ve put in place to protect families and staff. We can’t wait to see you soon!

CPC Child Care Center is open for the 2020-2021 school year and is accommodating the hybrid school schedule.

We have limited space still available in our exceptional programs:

  •  Full & half day Early Learning Care for 3, 4 and 5 year old children

  • Before and After School Care for morning Kindergarten students at Prospect, Walker and Manning schools

  •  Before and After School Care for 1st grade—12 year old students at Prospect, Walker and Manning schools.  Includes hybrid schedules with bus service.

At the Child Care Center, we provide quality home-away-from-home care and education for children ages 3–12 years old. The Child Care Center is licensed by the State of Illinois DCFS. Center hours are Monday–Friday, 7am–6pm, and is now offering full day summer camp for children ages 3 - 12 years!

Summer Camp for children ages 3 - 12 years old

Summer Camp is available at our Child Care Center.  Fun weekly themes, sports, arts & crafts, and field trips are just a few of the exciting offerings included in our summer camp program.

Before and After School Program

The before and after school program is open to children from Prospect, Walker, and Manning schools and includes full or part time enrollment options. Bus service is provided to Walker and Manning schools.

Kindergarten before and after school care is available for children who attend morning Kindergarten and includes a hot lunch that meets state nutritional guidelines.  Care is available on many non-attendance school days.

The Center is staffed by experienced, highly qualified teachers who meet or exceed DCFS licensing standards. Our nurturing teachers plan a variety of inspiring learning activities and provide a safe, comfortable and enriching environment for the children.  After school activities may include dedicated home work time, indoor or outdoor large motor activities, arts, science, cooking, yoga, board games, crafts, and/or quiet reading time, to name a few.  Activities vary throughout the week to encourage interest and participation.

 Full Day Early Learning Program

Our early learning program is open to 3, 4 and 5-year-old children and includes half day and full day enrollment options.  Hot lunch that meets state nutritional guidelines will be served.

The early learning program will be staffed by highly qualified, experienced teachers who meet or exceed the state educational requirements.  Our researched based curriculum will engage the children thru hands-on learning center activities and is designed to meet their individual emotional, social and cognitive needs.  Our philosophy is that children learn best through play in a developmentally appropriate, engaging and nurturing environment.

Enrollment

Priority registration for Fall 2020 is given to the Early Learning Program, Kindergarten program and currently enrolled families. We will notify new applicants by March 15 of our 1st - 5th grade availability.

Once your child is accepted to the Center, a non-refundable deposit is due to hold your child’s place at the Center. This deposit will be applied to the first tuition payment.

At this time, we are able to provide before and after school care and enrichment for children attending  morning Kindergarten.

Due to licensing capacity, the Center can only register a certain number of children; therefore some families may be notified that they have been placed on a wait list until space becomes available.

Please email the Center or call (630) 654-4014 and we will be glad to answer any questions you may have.
