Community Presbyterian Church Preschool is a world created especially for young children. It’s a place for your little ones to play, think, talk and listen, to create, share, and learn. We have welcomed the children and families of the community for over 50 years, providing quality half-day enrichment programs for 2–5 year olds. We are proud to be licensed by DCFS and accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, which recognizes our commitment to developmental preschool education.
What are we about?
We believe it’s vitally important to develop your child’s curiosity, confidence, independence, and resourcefulness. These are the foundations for future learning, so they’re our main areas of concentration. Your child will learn to be a member of a group away from home, respect other people and property, and adapt to routines and directions, while learning to express emotions in an acceptable manner.
CPC Preschool will hold an OPEN HOUSE for families interested in the 2020-2021 school year on Wednesday, January 15 and Thursday, January 16, 2020, 9:00 - 10:00 a.m.
Of course, private tours are always available by request. Questions? Contact Kathy Cantlon, Director, at 630-323-6522 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
What do we foster in our students?
Our curriculum provides opportunities for your child to participate in meaningful, hands-on, interactive experiences through interaction with objects, teachers, and other children. They’ll be involved in teacher-planned activities as well as child-directed activities, where they’ll engage in both individual and small group participation. Our curriculum activities directly correlate to the Illinois Early Learning Standards from the Illinois State Board of Education. and we are NAEYC accredited.
