The early learning program is staffed by highly qualified, experienced teachers who meet or exceed the state educational requirements. Our researched based curriculum will engage the children through hands-on learning center activities and is designed to meet their individual emotional, social and cognitive needs. Our philosophy is that children learn best through play in a developmentally appropriate, engaging and nurturing environment.
Before and After School Program
The before and after school program is open to children from Prospect and Walker schools and includes full or part time enrollment options. Bus service is provided to Walker school.
The school age program is staffed by experienced, highly qualified teachers who meet or exceed DCFS licensing standards. Our nurturing teachers plan a variety of inspiring learning activities and provide a safe, comfortable and enriching environment for the children. After school activities may include dedicated homework time, indoor or outdoor large motor activities, arts, science, cooking, yoga, board games, crafts, and/or quiet reading time, to name a few. Activities vary throughout the week to encourage interest and participation. A daily healthy snack is included.
Kindergarten before and after school care is available and includes a hot lunch that meets state nutritional guidelines.
Summer Camp is also available at the CPC Kids' Academy! Fun weekly themes, sports, arts & crafts, and field trips, science fun, and games are just a few of the exciting offerings included in our summer camp program.
Priority registration is given to current families and runs through mid January. Beginning mid January, prospective families may submit applications for enrollment consideration. Upon approval, a non-refundable registration payment is due in order to guarantee your child's spot.
