We care about the world outside our doors.

Turn on the news at any given moment and images of environmental crises, missile strikes, school shootings, and families separated from each other make it painfully obvious that our planet is in desperate need of hope and in desperate need of change.

At Community Presbyterian we want to be hope in the world, and we want to help change things for the better, in whatever ways we can, serving not only in our church community but also with neighbors in our local area and around the world.

Together we are finding the strength to stand against injustice, racism, violence, and exclusion. And to stand up for God’s creation and, as Jesus told us in Luke 4, to work to “bring good news to the poor, proclaim release to the captives and let the oppressed go free.”
