Connecting

This is a place where you can be seen and known.

If you’ve ever gone to a church and felt like just a number used to meet an attendance quota, or been to a church where you felt excluded because you didn’t fit their idea of what a Christian is supposed to be —we’re so sorry that happened to you. We believe that church is meant to be a place to belong—a place where everyone who wants to can feel loved, known, seen, and heard.

So we offer many ways to do that. Ways to connect more deeply with people who may be in a similar life stage or have shared interests—women’s groups, men’s groups, book groups, music groups. And we also offer lots of opportunities to just get together, share a meal, or simply enjoy each other’s company.

At Community Presbyterian Church, we are committed to to being the kind of community where together we can find the courage we need to love and to work for justice in the world. We hope that you’ll find that courage and a sense of belonging here with us.
