Kristin grew up in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She holds a level 5 Early Childhood Education Credential and a level 1 Director Credential with the state of Illinois and a National Director Credential awarded through National Louis University. Kristin taught Kindergarten and 3rd grade for 15 years before transitioning to Early Childhood Education. Kristin joined KinderCare in November of 2007 as a Center Director and successfully led 4 centers over the past 13 years while maintaining NAEYC accreditation and a Gold Circle of Quality with the state of Illinois. She enjoys taking training courses and attending conferences to stay up to date on the ever-changing world of early childhood education.

Kristin has 4 children, 3 stepchildren and 1 grandchild. She loves visiting her adult children in Wisconsin as all of them have moved north! In her free time Kristin enjoys gardening, biking, beating her husband at backgammon, antiquing, decorating, crafting, watching the Cubs and going to concerts!

Kristin is excited to continue her love of early childhood education at Community Presbyterian Church Kids' Academy and can’t wait to get back in the classroom!
