Rev. Nancy Kahaian

Pastor Nancy’s congregation-based experience includes rural and suburban churches, capital city and small city congregations. For the past decade she has been an interim specialist in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), serving deep and wide as a Synod Executive in Mid-America, and as a Presbytery Executive in a variety of contexts and locations including Tampa Bay, Eastminster Presbytery in Ohio, John Calvin Presbytery in Missouri and Cincinnati. She served as Chair of the General Assembly Council and was elected a General Assembly Commissioner, where she was appointed Chair of the Peacemaking and International Issues Committee.

 

Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts at Kalamazoo College, a Master of Divinity from Yale University Divinity School, and the Doctor of Ministry degree from McCormick Theological Seminary.

 

Nancy is involved in Meals-on-Wheels and mentoring. She enjoys riding her bike, culinary experimentation, and the companionship of her little white dog from West Virginia: Betty White
